Future King of England Knows EastEnders
London – While the world watched on April 29 the Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton, former EastEnders actor Mohammed George (Gus) posted on Facebook
the photo to the right and commented about his meeting the future King of England:
“Congratulations to William and Kate! Awww They look good together! Ok check this out I’ve met William and Harry. The crazy thing is Harry said ‘Gus, where’s
Wellard?’
Then three years later, William says, ‘You met my brother, didn’t you’ WOW HE ACTUALLY WENT HOME AND SAID HE MET LITTLE ME! FROM A COUNCIL HOUSE IN EAST LONDON TO ROYAL
APPROVAL! LOOOOOL. Little me and our Future King, who is a very real down-to-earth man. Him and his bro… both a credit to their mother. Bless her soul. I took the pic
first but didn’t get us both in so he said let me take it, and this is the snap. He has longer arms.”

EastEnders incorporated the Royal Wedding into its storyline
on the April 29 episode. Phil Mitchell threw a street party in
the special episode that was recorded in advance.
Technicians added footage from the Westminster Abbey
wedding to the Queen Vic’s telly on the actual day to give it a live
feel. Two EastEnders characters will also decide to get married
during the episode, during which Bianca’s daughter Tiffany Dean
will also dress up as a bride.
